March Contest Details
It's time for our March contest and this month we give a nod towards St. Patrick's Day. I want to thank Bruce Boughner for coming up with the idea for this particular contest. And now on to the details...
The rules for the contest are simple. Design a Celtic, Irish, or Scottish NPC character of any character class or classes and any character level up to 20th. Provide a one or two paragraph backstory describing the character and his or her personality complete with historical references to his or her heritage (you'll have to do a little bit of research here). The best and most original entry will win.
The NPC must be in stat block format with the math for the skills included (see our Writer's Guidelines in the Downloads section). All information included must come from an open content source complete with a notation of that source.
The deadline for this contest is Sunday, April 13th, at midnight. All entries should be done in Word (.doc, .rtf) or Adobe (.pdf) format and submitted to Steve at ghost.wind@verizon.net with the subject header "March Contest". Be sure to include your name, address and email on the submission itself.
The prizes for this contest include Cityscape: City on the Nexus of the Omniverse donated by Battlefield Press, Inc. and Draconic Lore from Fantasy Flight Games and donated by FRP Games.
All entries will appear in the June issue of d20Zine! for everyone to enjoy. So think about St. Patrick's Day and come up with those characters. Good luck to each and all of you.
