GM Tools

As I have posted elsewhere, I am quite new and am getting to know all parts of the site before I begin posting to the GMs Perspective (and later other areas).

I have read the articles already there and there are many quality advice articles.

what i did notice was a lack of 'tool' like articles. You know ones you can down load/copy and USE. Tables and charts, etc.

Are people interested in such things? I have many of them and are keen to put them somewhere. Do people want these in GMs Perspective?

Cheers, COnnors

Re:GM Tools

Sorry all,

I had forgotten I had posted this thread.

I have many tables/charts that I am looking for a home for.

I have spent the las month becoming familiar with this site and its features.

I loved reading the GM's Perspectives that are already out there, but what concerns me is the lack of Comments. I know this doesn't really matter, but it does motivate you to do more if you know people are interested in them (for good OR bad).

I am really keen to add to stuff here. What would be the advantage of posting here over, say the "Articles" feature on Enworld?

GM Tool #1

OK the first one is up.

Would welcome here any further comments or discussion.

More ideas to add to the Random Encounter Ideas chart are good too.

Also other sources where great info can be found for an entry. (As you may have noticed I included WHERE to find further info for several entries). Does anyone know of other great sources that would help with some entries.

My charts are always works in progress and new additions are always possible.

I am sending my second GM Tool to Steve now ;)

Re:GM Tools

I think this is a great idea. I can always use more charts/tables to help me when I am working on my campaign. Anything that makes my job easier, I am all for.

Re:GM Tools

Interested? Absotively! Especially things that I can convert to Tablesmith, which I use frequently.
