[Casting Call] Star Wars

Here's another exercise in creative dreaming. Lucas has passed on the torch to you and asked that you redo the original trilogy. The character's gender are not set in stone, but the feel of the movie must remain the same. As with the other casting calls, assume you can have anyone.

My picks:

Director - Peter Jackson
Screenplay - John Logan

Luke Skywalker - Christian Bale
Leia Organa - Angelina Jolie
Han Solo - Nicolas Cage
Chewbacca - Shaquille O'Neal (he doesn't need to act, only stand there in a fur suit)
Lando Calrissian - Marg Helgenberger
Obi-Wan Kenobi - William Petersen (although I also think that Anthony Hopkins would be brilliant)
Yoda (voice only) - Frank Oz
C-3PO (voice only) - Either Patrick Stewart or Mira Furlan (she does angst quite well)
R2-D2 - whomever is small enough to fit inside his cannister body
Darth Vader (voice only) - Michael Dorn
Gran Moff Tarkin - Judi Dench
Jabba the Hut (voice only) - Vin Diesel

Your choices?

Re:[Casting Call] Star Wars

Director - Lawrence Kasdan (served as writer on both Empire and Jedi)
Screenplay - Timothy Zhan (wrote the Thrawn trilogy, the only books George Lucas has considered good enough to be official canon)

Luke Skywalker - Leonardo Di Caprio
Leia Organa - Lindsey Lohan
Han Solo - Josh Holloway
Chewbacca - Whoever fits the outfit
Lando Calrissian - LeVar Burton
Obi-Wan Kenobi - George Carlin (okay, it seems strange, but for some reason, I can imagine him in his first serious role)
Yoda (voice only) - Frank Oz (let's face it, there simply can't be any other Yoda)
C-3PO (voice only) - Eric Idle (best known for Monthy Python's Flying Circus)
R2-D2 - Whoever fits the suit
Darth Vader (voice only) - James Earl Jones (of course, the voice of Vader)
Gran Moff Tarkin - Anthony Hopkins
Jabba the Hut (voice only) - Michael Clarke Duncan (he's got a nice, deep voice)
