fundraising update?
For what it's worth, I think the lairs idea is a good one. :)
Is there an update on the funds raised to date?
Re:fundraising update?
The problem was they were charging an outrageous fee to transfer ownership. When it was all said and done with renewal and transfer, it came to nearly $200 US dollars. The funny thing about all of this is that they were the provider that Yahoo picked when Morgan originally bought the domain name. If only we had known then...
Anyhow, problem solved and enough money has been secured to keep the site going for at least the next year and more likely well beyond that.
Re:fundraising update?
As of today (6/15), we are at $913 and very near the $1000 goal. Because of the donations thus far, I've been able to pay for the expensive process of renewing the domain with the Australian registar and paying the outlandish transfer fee. The domain is now securely in my name and is safe for at least another year. Also, I've begun the random name drawing of the prizes and have contacted the contributing publishers. If your name has been drawn, you should be notified of receiving a free product very soon.

Re:fundraising update?
I posted a new update on the announcement. As of right now, we are at $430 in donations with out goal being $1000.
Re:fundraising update?
The announcement has new information, a new total ($838) and a link on instructions about getting special donated prizes from Wizards of the Coast.
Re:fundraising update?
Steve,
What was the problem with the transfer fee? from American dollars to Australian, or from one server to another?
If it had been the dollars situation, I would have gladly paid it in Aussie dollars so that would have been avoided.
Anyway, good to hear that we will live for another year or thereabouts. YAHHH :D :D :D :D
