Conline – a d20Pro Online Gaming Convention – Volume 1: Jan. 26-28, 2007
Miami-based MindGene gaming software developers (www.mindgene.com) announced today they are hosting the first in a series of online gaming conferences Jan. 26-28, 2007 to bring Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) gamers back to the virtual tabletop using their innovative gaming software, d20Pro (www.d20pro.com).
d20Pro is a d20 3.5 Open Gaming License compliant gaming engine allowing gamers to easily run virtual tabletop games at home or in person using one or more networked computers around a table.
d20Pro is the most advanced software available for D&D Judges to prepare and moderate adventures and campaigns. The software allows players to quickly draft maps, import custom graphics and access a continuously-expanding library of creatures and NPCs. By providing players with instant access to attacks, skills, and spells, d20Pro makes the key mechanics of virtual tabletop gaming more efficient, allowing fast play and more play.
“Conline is an easy way for gamers of all skill levels to reconnect with friends and players across the country and around the world, and to see firsthand how simple d20Pro makes putting together a weekly game,” said Mat Morton, MindGene’s president.
The registration fee for this three-day virtual conference is $5. Other gaming events available at the conference include Original Adventures, d20Pro DeathMatch and the Cheesegrinder, and each cost $2-5 per event. Included with registration is one gaming slot and a free convention copy of d20pro, which is a full version and valid for 30 days after the convention’s first day. Gamers who have already purchased a full d20Pro license will enjoy their Conline registration fee waived.
