Building Character - Analei, Level 12

Is anyone even reading these? Anyway, Analei is currently spending time away from civilization as a hermit. I like this idea, as it helps build up her druid levels. With that in mind, the wilderness table has been good to her so far. We’ll stay with it.

The roll is 57, wandering minstrel.

Wow. I just didn’t see that coming. This will be her sixth class, which is the limit I set (both because that’s the maximum number of class that The Only Sheet will handle and because I really think that going beyond that point is unrealistic. Henceforth, if she gets a result that would give her a new class, I will either reroll or else add to a class she already has that best fits the event.

In any case, Analei has now taken up the life of a bard. She has to choose either Alertness or Endurance as her new feat. She already has Endurance, so Alertness it is. She spends her skill points on the required skills, putting 4 points into Perform (so that she can use some of her bardic abilities) and the requisite 1 point into each of the others. She will choose the harp as the instrument of her performance.

She doesn’t get a new contact, but her reputation does increase by 1-1/2 points. The wilderness table doesn’t offer much in the way of recognition, but she will improve her Wisdom with her stat increase, bringing it to 16.

During her time of reflection, Analei does receive the occasional visitor. Among them, a traveling bard who imparts upon her some of his skill and wisdom. Analei finds that she has a natural gift for music, and takes up the study of the harp. Enjoying her new role, she once more decides to rove, moving among the villages and towns of the region as a traveling minstrel, collecting knowledge and spreading cheer to all she meets.
