Signs Agreement to Purchase The d20 Magazine Rack http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3122
April 10, 2008 – Today Steven Creech, owner of the d20 Magazine Rack and Dragonwing Games and Jonathan M. Thompson, owner of Battlefield Press, announce the purchase of the website d20 Magazine Rack (http://d20zines.com) by Battlefield Press. Mr. Thompson will take over operations of the d20 Magazine Rack on May 19, 2008.

"I have been visiting the Magazine Rack on and off for the last several years, it is a great site for gaming resources, its reviews have often determined if I bought a product or passed on it," says Jonathan M Thompson, "I intend to use it to as the resource that Steve has worked so hard to build."

http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3122#comments Announcements Thu, 10 Apr 2008 13:11:00 +0000 Ghostwind 3122 at http://www.d20zines.com/v7 A Time to Say Good-Bye http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3121
It is said that all good things come to an end. Since shortly after third edition D&D was released, d20 Magazine Rack has been a resource for gamers to come to. Now, the time has come to close the doors and shut down the website.

The primary reason for this is largely due to ongoing health issues and my inability to devote the needed time and resources as a result. I appreciate everything that our staff reviewers have done through the years toiling through product after product and posting reviews. I want to say a sincere thank you to the publishers who have donated product for review through the years. I also appreciate the volunteer efforts that have gone forth in the production of the various electronic magazines we have hosted through the years.

http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3121#comments Announcements Tue, 08 Apr 2008 00:02:38 +0000 Ghostwind 3121 at http://www.d20zines.com/v7 Expedition to the Undercity http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3120
The Expedition to the mammoth dungeon continues! The Dungeon Under the Mountain expands again, now deep to level 8! Are you brave enough to throw a challenge to the sinister powers that rule the Undercity?

Secret staircases and dark passageways take the adventurers from the Demon Fortress at level 7 to the so-called "Undercity", on level 8 of The Dungeon Under the Mountain. The Undercity is populated by all kinds of dark beings: mind flayers, beholders, snake people and more. A single ruler does not exist, instead various power groups fight each other in order to obtain control over the Undercity. The Undercity features two main areas: the upper city and the lower city, divided by a long fortress wall dotted by watching towers. A single gate connect the lower and the upper city but is known of other, hidden underground passages....

Discover more here

Download a free map (The Dungeon Under the Mountain Level 1) here

Browse the other Dungeon Under the Mountain products here

This product is available (or it will be soon) also at the following online retailers:

Your Games Now
e23
DriveThru RPG
ArimA
Paizo
RPGnow
http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3120#comments Wed, 02 Apr 2008 11:26:05 +0000 master01 3120 at http://www.d20zines.com/v7 Do not enter that castle! http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3119
Øone Games has released the new expansion for the 0one's Blueprints: Ruined Town! How would humanity truly respond? This is not some stylized view of Earth like Harry Potter, or a fictionalized world like Middle Earth. This is our real world (with you, your family, Tolkein, and D&D) with all the problems both social and political intact.
How would religions like Christianity and Islam respond given such massive doubts to their dogma? Would we welcome the world of fantasy or would we fear their very presence? Now, on top of this dilemma, what if their magic disrupted our world of technology. Their very presence and the spells they flaunt shorts out our cars and computers. Would you embrace a world of wizardry and wonders in exchange for air conditioning, Internet, and cable TV? Would you fear or hate those that could harness such power? Would you hide in cities of pipe and steel, lights and heat, or venture in a landscape of goblins, dragons, swords, and sorcery?

http://www.d20zines.com/v7/node/3118#comments Sat, 15 Mar 2008 21:10:34 +0000 DiasExMachina 3118 at http://www.d20zines.com/v7 Rest In Peace E.
