Mythus Mutters
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage) Part 6
The little stunties are back. And this time they learn how to read and write. (The consequences of which lead to the first kobold tribes.)
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage) Part V
Yep, the kobolds are back, in part 5 of a work in progress. This time around we look at the Thiran eruption and the effect it had on the World of Dragon Earth.
(BTW, I was delayed by a minor stroke, otherwise this would've been up days ago.)
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage) Part IV
Halflings, Minoans, and the island of Thira
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage) Part III
In which the wondrous Mythusmage expounds once more on a fantasy creature, and shows off his scattershot education. In this installment the Indo-Europeans, elves, dwarfs, and orcs show up to give Dragon Earth's kobolds more grief.
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage) Part II
Post number two in a series focusing on the kobolds of Dragon Earth. This installment deals with their history.
Kobolds (According to Mythusmage)
A sample of writing practice wherein your host, Mythusmage, shows off his erudition and amuses himself with idle speculation.
This particular exercise involves the old German sprite, the kobold. The kobold as it exists in the world of Dragon Earth; a fantasy/alternate history version of the world we know. It is, you might say, the first draft of a work in progress detailing the kobolds of Dragon Earth in all their various forms. I actually get this thing finished I' m thinking of having it published in PDF format for sale through one or more PDF vendors.
But you're not here to hear about my plans for this thing, you're here to hear about kobolds. :)
You Game?
A recent wind storm (Hurricane Charles) got me to thinking about events as adventures. A bit more thinking and the following occured to me.
I'm Back
Looks like Ghostwind knows me better than I do myself. What will I be writing about? Danged if I know. But I'll do what I can to produce substantial postings. Right now I'm thinking about environmental hazards (storms, earthquakes, dead trees, that sort of thing) in RPGs, and doing adventures around them. PCs against Nature.
Which does raise this question: What is the CR of a category 4 hurricane?
(Irate Player: We survive an 8.9 earthquake and I'm still tenth?)
